SUMMARY STATISTICS OF HIKES AND HIKE LEADERS

Have you ever wondered how many hikes you have led, which ones they were, and when you did them?  Take a look at the summary statistics below, and then check out your original announcements in the yearly history pages.

• History_Date:  Complete listing of hikes, sorted chronologically by hike date
• History_Name:  Complete listing of hikes, sorted alphabetically by hike name
• History_Leader:  Complete listing of hikes, sorted alphabetically by hike leader
• History_Hikes_Led:  Leaders and their last hikes, sorted by total number of hikes led

Current winners who have led the most hikes are:

• Jim Carlin with 62 hikes
• Roland Bassett with 46 hikes
• Jim Spotts with 46 hikes
• Mike Gessner with 42 hikes
• Ron Forbess with 40 hikes

We are indebted to Vicky Ritter, Jim Carlin, Mike Gessner, Roland Bassett and Pat Forbess for providing the majority of historical hike descriptions in the form of paper records.  There are still 61 missing hike descriptions, all from the 1989-1994 period.  These are listed in History_Missing.  Please search your records and if you locate any of these missing description/announcements, please give them to me before or after our weekly hikes, or email to webmaster@otphiker.com if you are no longer hiking. 

Irene Adam (1997- 2007) was known during previous marriages as Irene Birchard (1993 - 1997) and Irene Murray (1991).  In order to recognize Irene's true hike-leading record, her previous names have been merged under her last name, Irene Adam, in these statistics pages.  Original hike descriptions and yearly histories have however retained Irene's name at the time of the hike.
