Elevation Gain: 700 ft.
Directions to Trailhead: Take the 405 freeway to Sunset Blvd., proceed west about 4 miles to Mandeville Canyon Road, turn north on Mandeville, and after only one block turn left (west) onto Westridge Road. Proceed to the end of Westridge Road, and set your altimeters to 1260 feet at the trailhead marker. Be mindful of the “No Parking” signs.
The Hike: Follow the Westridge Fire Road until it meets Mulholland Drive (elevation 1880 feet). Turn right and follow the trail to the top of the old Nike station (elevation 1961 feet) where we will have lunch. Tables and restrooms are available at the lunch site.
Return by the same route for refreshments at the trailhead.
